Morgan’s News service
Morgan’s News is a free, personalized e-mail news service. The items are interesting Internet sites (interesting to you, that is), courtesy of Morgan:Newsletters.

Here’s how it works: We keep watch for items which we come across in our Internet travels, items that have to do with the Net ’s more interesting resources.

There are no set number of news items per time period, but it’s generally not too many per week, because they really have to be interesting or useful to you. Sometimes they’ll come in clumps, sometimes singly. Sometimes days will go by without one. Mostly the news items are fairly short; a screen or two, but if they ’re long, the word ‘Article’ will be in the subject line, too.

If, however, ‘Morgan’s News’ becomes annoying or intrusive or simply not particularly interesting, you can ask us to stop sending the material to you. You can do this at any time/ Simply ’Reply’ to any ’Morgan’s News’ message we send you, and we’ll make the change as soon as practical. After all, that’s the whole point of receiving a free, personalized news service.

It’s also as user-friendly as we can make it. For instance, anytime we send you an item in the news service, the subject line will start with ‘Morgan’s News:’, followed by an intriguing subject line. We standardize the subject line so that if your e-mail program has filtering abilities, you can teach the program to automatically watch for messages with a subject line starting with ‘Morgan’s News:’, and have it move them to a particular folder or directory so you can read them at your leisure. That way, they won ’t clutter up your e-mail in-basket. Even if your e-mail program doesn’t filter messages for you, you can still see, at a glance of the subject lines, whether it ’s a Morgan’s News item.

Are you worried that we might use your e-mail address to send you spam, or perhaps rent your address to others? We don ’t do that. Period. We use it exactly for what we say we’ll use it for.
